There's not a whole lot that can be swapped out for this one. If we HAVE to get creative, we could try evaporated milk or crème frâiche in place of heavy cream, however there really is no egg substitute. Vanilla extract is perfectly fine in lieu of vanilla beans. Almonds can be omitted, or walnuts/pecans would also work nicely.
